As we near the end of the year, we reflect on the past year and some of the articles that were published. In particular, we had the privilege of interviewing various Goalbook team members. They gave us insight into their roles, experiences, and how their work supports Goalbook’s mission of empowering educators to transform instruction so that all students succeed. 1. Emily Dill, Production Manager

“Supporting and improving our education system and our educators is one of the most impactful things we can do to help improve individuals’ lives and our collective future,” says Emily. One of the things that attracted Emily to Goalbook was the mission. She’s never worked anywhere where she’s felt more mission-aligned than at Goalbook. 2. Heather Eaton, District Partnerships

Heather taught at the elementary level and then worked as a curriculum specialist with an education company, but she didn’t feel the same passion at that company as she had when she was teaching. 3. Erin McClaskie, Customer Success Manager

When she moved from the state of Washington to Ohio, Erin had to leave her job as an Assistant Director of Special Education. She wanted to continue her passion, which is creating effective, equitable, and inclusive learning environments for all kids. Goalbook’s mission aligns with that. 4. Cassandra Garza, Customer Success Manager

As a special educator, Cassandra leveraged Goalbook Toolkit while working with a very unique set of students with complex disabilities who were also English learners. That journey now influences how she supports and guides educators in the field during trainings. 5. Rachael Moore, Customer Support

Rachael loves collaborating with folks, whether our partners or internal teammates, and ensuring they have the resources they need. She works closely with fellow members of the Customer Support team to advance Goalbook’s mission forward from behind the scenes. “There’s something pretty powerful about this many people coming together who are passionate about making an impact on other people’s lives,” shares Rachael. Looking back over these Q&As, we reflect on how fortunate we are to work with dedicated, passionate, and inspiring individuals. Each person plays a crucial part in the success of Goalbook.
